SSG Works with Massachusetts to support Meaningful Use activities through Electronic Laboratory Reporting
SSG has been working with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) over the last 3 years supporting Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR). ELR enables MDPH to automatically and securely receive laboratory results from hospital and private based laboratories. SSG has supported hospitals to meet the state’s electronic laboratory submission requirements and federal Meaningful Use requirements for public health reporting. On April 26th it was announced that the system was fully certified by the Obama Administration as a federally recognized system to help hospitals save time and expense when reporting cases of infectious disease.
SSG continues to manage ELR roll-out activities for Massachusetts.
